How a simple discussion about black women being obese turned into a race war

The CNN network did a spot about 80% of black women being obese and the effort of 2 professional black women who are leading the charge to change the fact and help black women live healthy and lean.

The video sparked outrage from black people who claimed that they were targeted for the purpose of marketing weight loss products, and pointed to the fact that obesity is not relegated to black people, but more to poor and less educated of all races who tend to eat poorly. Though that is true, the stats certainly point out that poverty is greater among American black people, and therefore they are more subject to less quality food which promotes obesity.
